Raindrops on roses? Whiskers on kittens?
This series asks the big questions of the best pets. We’re getting behind the canine curtain and discovering what people, places and things put smiles on their fluffy faces.
Our second subject is the terribly handsome businessdog Fred, a canine building a couture empire.
A Few Of My Furvourite Things
Name: Fred
Age: 3
Breed: French Bulldog
Residence: Dublin
Furvourite Treat: The humans often try to trick me but, I know that the tastiest treats, of all, are stored in the fridge. My favourites are steak, salmon, cheese, yoghurt, banana and peanut butter.
Furvourite Game: FOOTBALL!
Furvourite Place to Walk: The beach - my pawrents often bring me on my holidays to Wexford and I love it there.
Fuvourite Service Provider: I go to daycare at VetSit twice a week. I secretly wish I could live there, but I don't want to hurt my pawrents' feelings.
First thing, every morning, I insist on walking past The Coffee Duck, Cornelscourt. My human grabs a coffee (the best in Dublin) and they always give me delicious treats.
Furvourite Clothing/Apparel: I am DEO of a small business called Fred & Ginger, specialising in canine couture. My favourite collection from Fred & Ginger is "Irish You Were Here" as the design is a love letter to our beautiful home, Ireland. (You can follow them on Instagram here)
During the winter, I like to stay cosy in my PetLocker jackets and fleeces - my favourite is the "Powerscourt Puffer". It's waterproof, keeping me dry and warm at all times. You can follow them on Instagram here
Furvourite Furrend: My best furend is Mila, the Pugalier. I meet her at daycare twice a week and we are co-conspirators in mischief.
Furvourite Weekend Activity: A morning walk, complete with coffee (for the humans) and a lovely bite of croissant.
Furvourite Noise: When my pawrents say the words "do you want to".... Usually, the words are followed by a treat or an adventure.
Furvourite Accessory/Toy: If you haven't guessed yet, food is my everything. My furvourite pet accessories are my Joa Ceramic Bowls from Butter Biscuit - I literally do a happy dance, each time I see one.
